Truman Capote

Never knew him. Till I saw the film 'Capote' on DVD.

Never knew that he was childhood friends with Nelle Harper Lee.

Never knew that he wrote 'In Cold Blood' which was a real-life story about the murder of Clutters Family in Kansas.

Yeah. I got a D7 for my Literature. Probably that explains why. He he....

Well, the film was nice but I wouldnt recommend to those who doesnt like literature and talking shows. (talking shows as in the actors just talk and talk and talk). I got to know who is Truman Capote and about his life. He sure got a unique voice.

But a thought just triggers me. How come almost every legend or famous person had such a terrible or unhappy childhood? Does it make someone a prodigy? For example, Johnny Cash, Madonna......and Truman Capote himself. I wonder...well..I guess it just provokes them to do something extraordinary, which in return makes them special in a way.

Reading his brief biography on the net makes me understand more and yeah, 'Breakfast At Tiffany' is written by him. (okok, I know I am swa koo to those Literature freaks out there)

Hey, I learn something new.

Interesting.

Got to go to the Library.
