Gong Xi Fa Cai!

Holidays really come and go at a jiffy. Chinese New Year has arrived and soon, we will all have to go back to work on Wed and wont have any holidays till Apr?

Yes, for this holiday, I am with the crowds again. I went to Chinatown around 3x already. For the past years during this festive season, shopping in Chinatown was never in my list. But I must say I did feel some CNY spirit this year. Do you?

Anyway, wishing everyone a very prosperous new year ahead with lots of wealth and good health! :)

All the best!

Paranormal Curiosity and Everyday Irritations

A few days ago, I was reading Reader's Digest Jan 06 edition and came across this article talking about a writer who went to the Menger Hotel to find out more about their ghostly history.

For the past century, there is this ghost called Ms Sallie White, a chambermaid, who had been haunting this 146 year old hotel. The article was indeed interesting and when reading it, you may feel like you want to know more about it.

Just a thought. Have you ever wondered why humans are so interested to know about the 'others'? They will go to the extent of forming a team, doing research, equipped themselves with electromagnetic detectors and other sophiscated equipments etc just to sense the 'others'. So what if they managed to connect with the 'others'? Are they going to communicate with them and find out why they die or lingering around? I guess if they pass away, they will become one of the 'hunted' and find out the answer they are looking for. Hehe. . .

On an unrelated note altogether, there is also another article talking about Asia's top irritations. I was looking at the portion about Singapore and laughed at one of the points: Kissing in public. Is it that irritating? I always felt kissing is a declaration of love and affection. I think they must have been interviewing the ah-so and aunties. Hehe...

But of course, depends on the way how both parties are kissing and who they are. For example, kids in school uniform is definitely a no-no. Or couples kissing loudly and making all sorts of funny sounds. I think these should be done at home. But I think that if its a peck on the lips, should be ok. Well, guess its different perceptions.

Interesting. I love Reader's Digest.

Mosaic Festival

I just can't wait for the next holiday. Just feel so tired everyday.

O! By the way, to my fellow music-lover friends, you must have heard that Mosaic Festival is coming again in March. And the line-ups are simply wonderful! Incognito and Pat Methany Trio are already in my list. Just can't wait to see their performance. :D

Of course, there are also other wonderful artistes. How I wish that I can just watch every performance. Arghh! Yes, if I am a rich girl, this is where I am going to spend my money on. Hehe....*dreaming*

Lately, the upcoming movies are not as exciting and attractive as the past movies e.g Chronicles of Narnia, King Kong etc. I am waiting for Superman, X Men, Mission Impossible etc, mostly showing around May and June. As of now, I guess I will just stick to rental of DVDs. Kinda get addicted to it. :)

P.S: Hi Little Jiaxuan, so fast you are one year old already. :) Heard that you have got a little blog that you can write your adventures down. :) Ann yee yee long time never update blog cos got nothing to update mah. hehe.

Welcome back to Reality!

Yes, back to work again after a long weekend. By the way, before I go on, just felt that the fonts of my blog seems to have changed. Smaller. But my font size states "Normal Size". Hmm...ok...watever.

It is going to be a busy week, definitely. I have tons of work, waiting and waving at me. It seems like its saying "come on, finish me off." Well, not in those sense. Well, anyway, looking positively, next week, there is a holiday. :)

Today also starts my first lesson in Belly Dance For Fitness. It is really awwweeessooome! We are not exactly learning the dance itself but it involves cardio and muscle toning as well. And what is amazing as well, is that the dance school is so near my office, directly opposite...haha. Fantastic! Splendid!

Shake your boodie, shake your boodie, shake shake shake....

P.S: Bollywood Dance is next on my list ;)
