Best Saturday Ever

Fun, fulfilling, fantastic, wonderful...this would summarize how was my Saturday :)

Okie...let me now give you in details on how fantastic and fulfilling it was...

10:40am

I was supposedly meeting Gav and Jem at Bedok Mrt Stn Platform last cabin, however, I was abiiit late (sorry lah, guys). Bernard, his wife Shan Shan and their frd Zhixiong were coming along as well. Then we head on down to Harbourfront to have our lunch before heading into Sentosa. We met Lilian there at the same time.

11:30am

We board the Sentosa Bus at the Interchange and head on down to the BEACH!!!! Well, it was quite disappointing at first cos there was not much sunshine when we reached there. There are even droplets of rain. Boring....... Anyway, the guys started playing soccer already, while the girls went to find the best spot to sun tan. The sun just comes and goes.

2:30pm

By this time, the guys and Lilian had started playing beach volleyball, while the shy me just stayed put at one spot and read my Reader's Digest. :) And I think i got bitten by some sand insect at my butt and it is still itchy while I am writing now. :P Backside itchy itchy..:P

4:00pm

All of us then headed to play in the sea, take pictures, and the guys fantasizing being in Manhunt while taking pictures (especially Jem)... Hahahahhaa...damm funny lah...:D...It was really a fun and lovely moment. Although I am not previously in their group, I can feel the warmth and the friendliness...reminds me of being with my secondary school frds as well.

6:00pm

By this time, we had already bathed and packed up, heading on to have our dinner. We had Yoshinoya, simple and nice. Then after, I started striking an idea to go to seesha again...hehe..the typical me. :) We took 100 and head on down to Arab Street. We were all quite shagged at that time already.

7:10pm

We reached there and went to Le Claire Restaurant first. We ordered 2 rose seeshas and some drinks and finger food. We all acted normal and tired, was not excited at the seeshas. For me, it is okie. Zhixiong then commented that "You addict ah"... Then I jus smiled cos I simply lovvve seesha. Very relaxed. :)

8:20pm

After a while, Gav and me got this crazy idea: We decided to go seesha hopping, that is, we will go to the other seesha place at the corner of the road, called Samar. Hehe...crazy but fun. So we quickly paid our bill and head on down to Samar. We got hold of the most comfortable chairs and position of the restaurant, which is outside along the pathway. :)...We tot of our usual chillout corner which is the cushion area but it was already occupied at that time. But it turned to be better than ever. We had our own individual chair and enjoyed the breeze. :) The breeze was shioked lah, complement the chillout atmosphere. :) We ordered about 5 seeshas (hehe!) and had a few drinks. Too bad they do not have the rose laban. Hai...well..however, we still enjoyed it :) We cracked a few jokes and it is really really funny. My mouth nearly got cramped, laughing. Haha....They are all so funny lah, especially Zhixiong, Gav and Jem. Jokers lah, they all. hehe...The funny thing is that Zhixiong was slowly learning how to smoke seesha, and surprisingly, he also slowly getting high and enjoy every bit of it. He doesnt even feel like going to work anymore. Haha...now whos the addict?...hehehe...that one i teased him. All of us are like kids enjoying something new and fun. It is indeed one of the best seesha sessions ever. If only Lilian and her husband were there too..:)

10:40pm

After all the jokes and fun, we finally decided to pay our bills and head on home.

What a fulfilled Saturday...:) Thanks guys for all the fun...

:D

Reader's Digest (Feb Issue)

Started reading Reader's Digest cos I happened to see the latest issue of it through my colleague. Read this article that I want to share with you people, specially dedicated to all men. :) No offence though...a new thing to know everyday :)

Here it goes...quoted from Reader's Digest Feb Issue, Page 16:

STRICKEN BY THE MALE MONTHLIES

Monthly mood swings are not just women's business: the lastest research shows that the boys are also prone to the monthly blues. A study by psychologists from England's University of Derby suggests that men may experience cyclical symptoms similar to, or worse, than those suffered by pre-menstrual women. Symptoms of this "periodic male tension" or PMT include pain, loss of concentration, behavioural changes, physical reactions, negative feelings and loss of arousal. The research team asked 100 men and women about symptoms usually related to the menstrual cycle. They were stunned when the men reported they suffered from similar symptoms more severely than the women. Previous studies suggest the male symptoms could be caused by internal biorhythms: the theory is that we all experience cyclical changes in our moods but, coincidentally, women also menstruate cyclically. Another hypothesis is that men have a lower pain threshold than women - and are making a fuss about nothing.

Interesting huh...so we women have the PMS, and the men have the PMT. :) Girls..beware of the guys around you. You never know that they will just have PMT suddenly. :) Just kidding..

Till next time!
