Once upon a time in a carpark

On a cool and windy night on top of Bedok Reservoir Road multi-story carpark...

There are 5 people, 5 chairs and 1 table. What are they doing? They are all making wonderful music.

Yes...me, Cliffie, Jeremy, Gavin and Pearlyn were jamming and its hella nice one. :) Don't you agree, guys? It was really good weather as well, but unfortunately I am really tired manz.. my eyes are almost closing. hee hee...

Anyway, we jam till about 1am+. Me, Jeremy and Gavin then headed down to Simpang Bedok for kopi/teh session while Cliffie and Pearlyn went pak tor...hehe...jus kidding. They went to meet their own frds.

During the kopi/teh session, I was almost drifting off to sleep till I buay tahan, while Jem and Gav were discussing about something, I put my head on the table and doze off. hee hee..but subconciously, still can hear what they are talking about till I totally concussed. Haha..they keep laughing at me...but I think next time they sure dont want to bring me out...haha..."So mafan ah, this ann.." blah blah blah...

But overall, it was nice...cosy...cooling...satisfying...woooooo

Why do we blog?

This is a question that my friend asked me before.

Is it because of fun? Relieve stress? Know more friends? etc...

Some people think that bloggers are lamers. They are just typing the details of their private lives and broadcast on the net for people to know and see. While others think that bloggers are just people who have nothing better to do. Why would they spend so much time on blogs, beautifying them, put this feature, put that feature etc.?

Heehee...actually I myself also do not know why I blog. I guess I just want to write my thoughts out rather than keep inside my heart. At the same time, I can improve my writing skills :D. 2 in 1! But for me, I prefer to keep my blog simple, probably only adding pics. That's all. Okie, I do not know why suddenly I ask this question. It just came out in my mind and jus feel like asking the fellow bloggers out there....why blog? Maybe I also in the midst of finding out the answer.

Anyway, on a different note altogether, 3 days ago, it was my last day in TT. It was indeed a nice 3 years there. Really miss my dear colleagues there manz. Had built a strong bond with them. Thank you guys for all the support and love!

No inspiration to write anymore..:P...till then.

Jam..Jam..Jam

Have been jamming for the past 3 nights. Gosh...what a record!

Fatigue. This is the perfect word to describe what I am suffering right now. Hey..but it is indeed a very fun jamming session. Loooovvveee it!

The first 2 nights...we had it in Jeremy's place.

First Night

We met up around 8+ pm, I think. We went throught the normal jamming ritual and we finished about 11? Forgot. Anyway, after that, we had hella lot of photo-taking fun and joy at Marina area. Parked the cars at Marina Sq carpark, walk to esplanade, took some pictures there, walk again to fullerton hotel, and then to the underpass leading from Fullerton to One Fullerton, done lots of funny, silly, idoitic poses there. Gosh! There was a whole lot of fun manz! By the time we finished this whole good shit, it was already 4am...yes...4am!!! Haha...:) But I like it...hee hee :P


Second Night

We went back to Jeremy's place again. Went through the same ritual again. Nothing exciting (cause we are still dead beat tired). Merv, Gavin, Noelle and me went to Parkway for dinner, while Cliff and Jem went pak toring...hehe...okok...just kidding. They just hang out ALONE. okok....sorry....They just had something to do...so they didn't join us. That's all for 2nd night.

Third Night

We head on down to the studios ard 8pm. Went through a more thorough ritual for about 2 hours. Good shit once again. Very productive. :) Lurrrvveeely....

And the jamming continues this Sunday. Till then...this is "Carrot Top" (thanks hor, Merv for the name) reporting LIVE from the Liew residence. Haha...

Where were you on the first hour of 2005?

At Bedok bus-stop waiting for Bus 31. Haha...

Time rolls back to 7:30pm on 31st Dec 2004.

I met up with my colleagues at Fish n Co at Park Mall. It is sorta like a farewell party for me and Elliot. This day itself was Elliot's last day whereas my last day in TT will be on the 5th Jan 2005. We waited for quite some time till they can accomodate 13 of us. Hehe...Apparently they only have a New Year's Eve Menu. The usual menu is kept on the shelf. Everything on it was quite ex. We ordered 5 Fish n Chips, 1 Seafood Platter (for 1 person) and (for 2 person). (I remembered quite clearly cos the cashier had input the wrong items in the receipt). They had this singer who sang specially for this occasion. He was pretty good, however, the volume was too loud till his voice became quite irritating. Food was not bad, as usual.

At 10.30pm...

We finished. Waiting for the waiters to clear the dishes and get them to give us our dessert. And...the dessert came out to be a small chocolate thing. Hahhaha...we were all quite shocked. But what do you expect? It is a new year eve's thing. After the whole dinner ended, we all took pictures, hug one another and some head for home. Redz, maureen and me all went to this Salsa event at Chijmes. They played really nice music. Could really boogie there the whole night manz. :)

At 11.30pm

We left Chijmes and quickly head for MRT. We were all sweating by then. Redz went the North bound train while Maureen and myself headed for the East bound train. By the time it reached Bedok MRT station, I think it was 2 mins before midnight.


At 12.00am 01st Jan 2005

Sitting at the bus-stop. Busy smsing all my good friends. :) Waited till about 12.30am before I finally decided to take a cab home because I do not think Bus 31 will come to the bus-stop.

So there it goes..a New Year Eve Story :)
