Back to the Past

My ex bf's sis invited me to her house (she and my ex lived separately) and so i went. My ex bf was not there. Before I went there, i decided to go my ex bf's place, well, to see Nitro.

(My ex and myself bought Nitro when we are together. He was a puppy then. Small and cute. After we broke up, he kept it as Nitro already lived with him and my mum doesnt like pets.)

I saw Nitro. He saw me. Began barking and barking. I so wanted to hold and hug him. But i could only see him through the window. When I saw him, I had mixed feelings. On one hand, I was feeling sad cos he doesnt seem to recognise me anymore. On the other, I feel happy to see him again. He seems thinner. I hope he had fed him well.

After I saw Nitro, I went down to his sister's place. Lots of children. They were playing games at that time. Saw his mum. She was quite surprised and happy to see me. The first words from her, "You all ah, so noti." At that point of time, my tears nearly rolled down. Well, miss them too. His sister gave me xmas present too. His mum cooked really good food. Misses her food a lot. :) Before I left, his mum said,"Don't forget us." I was really touched. Of course, I will not forget them. Was already happy that his sis had invited me to her Xmas party.

That's how I spent my Xmas.

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas

Hey everyone! Merry Xmas 2004!!

This year is one of the 'more happening' christmas EVE for me. This is how I celebrate:

Afternoon ~ Went back to office for Xmas lunch. The management had catered and the food was okie but kinda cold. Basically, it is still edible. Haha... After that, I went to do somemore last minute xmas shopping. It was REALLY a lot of people manz.

Evening ~ Met up with Serene (my poly good friend), Ling (Serene's cousin), Lester (Ling's bf) and Von (Serene's friend). We are supposed to go out and go another of Serene's friend's house at Namly Drive. We got on a cab and got lost at one moment. Eventually, we reached. Nice house. Big. 4 dogs. Big koi pond with humongous kois (it's really big, i swear). We had some BBQ food and spagetti and of course, a ice-cream log cake!!! :P~~~ Yum yum...from Gelare. Nice....

Night ~ At about 11pm, we head on down to Rouge, a pub at Peranakan Place. It has been a long long long time since I party. Really. And I felt so 'swa koo' with all the youngsters around me. The music was okie. Countdown to Xmas. "Wooo...merry xmas"...and then we left about 1am to go lim Teh at one of the Malay hangout kopitiams at the corner of the street. By the time, we already suffered from temporary deafness cos the bass in Rouge was so damm powerful that it can literally burst your ear drums if you stayed there any longer. Anyhow, we really enjoyed ourselves. :) Head on home at about 2am+. Thanks Serene and Vic (her bf) for the lift! Got home safely and hit the sack about 3am+.

And here I am now...typing this blog. Wee.....Have plans later too!

Half a day in the life of a Shopaholic

Well, not exactly a shopaholic. It is just today that I decided to do last minute Xmas shopping in town. It ain't easy, I tell you.

Left Turn. People.
Right Turn. People.
Straight ahead. People.

People, people everywhere! Lucky I know what I want so I quickly go the location and get my goods. The only challenge is to get a gift box for my wine. My feet was really in pain and finally alas! I got a beautiful DIY gift box that costs about 5 bux.

Once I got that, I quickly rush home. Too tired.

How Usual

Today is another usual day in my life:

Work...Eat...Chat...Train...Go toilet...And the cycle goes on and on till I went home.

Managed to watch "Amazing Race 6", one of my favourite reality shows. I am not really a big fan of reality shows, really. But AR6 is just fantastic. I love it because I can get to see the sceneries of various countries as well as when the participants get agitated when they can't do their tasks...Haha. Cool show indeed.

Tomorrow is shopping day after work. Weee....:)

Haha...yesterday I was really very sleepy that I just can't carry on blogging.

Oh yah! NFSU2! Wonderful game...I can't wait to play it later.

By the way, I had quitted my current job (yes...after 3 years+) and my last day will be 05 Jan 05. Feel kinda relieved and found freedom...haha...but I will really miss my colleagues. They are really a whole bunch of fun people lah. But of course, we can always stay in contact but just won't be working together anymore. O well...

Anyway, going to watch TV now...

Had been playing this PS2 game lately and it's definitely going to be in my "Cool Games" list. It is slightly different from NFSU1 but then the concept is almost there. Drift, races....weee...:) Simply love it!

The Translator

At 5:37pm, I finished most of my work. Went Googling and I found a really cool online translater!! I typed "Fuck you", it gave me "Va te faire foutre" in French. Hahaha...Okie, here are some examples:

I love you = Te quiero (Spanish)
You are a stupid ass = Você é um burro stupid (Portugese)
You rock! = Oscillate! (Italian)

How cool is this manz...but of course, I do not know how accurate this is lah. Haha...

A Sunday Afternoon...

12:41pm...Sunday...A boring one again...woke up at around 11am.

Jem just sent me this song. Nice...Thought I heard it in the radio somewhere somehow. My parents and brother all went for lunch. Didnt go cause wanted some time alone. Furthermore after yesterday, I couldnt really stand the crowds on the streets. Really terrible..think I might faint cos lack of oxygen. Haha...

Hmm...what shall I do on a Sunday? Maybe I will watch "Boogie Nights".

A Boring Day...

Today, I marked the day which my virgin blog was created. :)

Boring...Why? I was supposedly going out with my long-time-no-see primary school mate, Cindy. Msg her yesterday and called her just now but nobody picked up. I am not sure whether I am still going out or not.

Ooo...she just messaged me and said that she is really busy today but she could meet me up for a short while. I am okie with it and I messaged her back saying that I am free the whole day.
